PDF to Excel Converter

Limit is 100 MB. This page looks for tables — rows and columns — not essays. You get cell values. You do not get live Excel formulas from a printed PDF.

Share Tool:

From PDF table to .xlsx

1

Drop a PDF up to 100 MB.

2

Read the analysis card: digital vs scanned, table count.

3

Check the preview grid. Edit a wrong cell if you need to.

4

For a scan, turn OCR on and pick English or Hindi.

5

Download .xlsx and spot-check 3–4 amounts against the PDF.

Documents that are actually tables

  • HDFC / SBI / ICICI account statement PDF — line items into a sheet for reconciliation.
  • GSTR-1 or GST invoice PDF — item rows for working papers.
  • SSC / university marksheet PDF — totals and ranks in Excel.
  • Shop price list or stock table that only came as PDF.

How extraction works

Digital PDFs (you can highlight text) are parsed as a grid. A scan can use Tesseract in the browser — English, Hindi, or auto. OCR is slower and will misread a faint stamp or a tilted page. I always match the closing balance on a bank statement before I trust the sheet.

Failed conversions and what you do not get

If someone promised “formulas are preserved,” that was wrong. A PDF is a print. SUM and VLOOKUP are already calculated. The sheet has numbers and labels you can sort — not a working model.

  • •A letter or circular with no grid: weak or empty sheet. Use PDF to Word.
  • •Handwritten marks or a photo of a crumpled printout: OCR will guess. Type those cells.
  • •Nested tables and tiny footnotes under a GST table: often land in the wrong column. Fix in the preview.
  • •Over 100 MB: rejected before extract starts.

Statement files

Bank and GST PDFs are parsed in the tab, including optional OCR. They are not uploaded.

Common Questions

No. The PDF already shows calculated numbers. You can add SUM yourself after download.
If the statement is a real table (or a readable scan with OCR), usually yes. Check closing balance and 2–3 lines.
